Our Commitment to Child Safety
eYou Social has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We are deeply committed to protecting minors on our platform and to preventing any form of harm, abuse, or exploitation of children. Any content or behavior that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits a minor is strictly prohibited and will be removed immediately. We actively work to ensure that eYou Social remains a safe environment for all users.
Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following are strictly forbidden on eYou Social and will result in immediate action:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including images, videos, text, audio, illustrations, or AI-generated content.
- Grooming, any attempt by an adult to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation or abuse.
- Sextortion, threatening or coercing a minor into providing sexual content, money, or favors.
- Child trafficking, the recruitment, transportation, or harboring of minors for exploitation.
- Sexual exploitation of minors in any form, including solicitation, sexualized roleplay involving minors, or distribution of such content.
- Sharing personal information of minors in a manner that could place them at risk.
How We Detect and Remove Violations
eYou Social uses a layered moderation approach to prevent, detect, and remove CSAE content:
- Automated image moderation at upload: All user-uploaded images (profile pictures, profile banners, and images attached to posts) are automatically scanned by an AI-based content moderation classifier before they are stored. We apply custom thresholds tuned to flag content involving minors at the highest sensitivity. Images that fail moderation are rejected at upload time and never stored on our servers.
- Automated text and image moderation of posts and comments: All user posts and comments are automatically scanned by an AI moderation classifier covering sexual, harassing, hateful, and violent content, including a dedicated category for sexual content involving minors. Flagged content is prevented from being published or is taken down.
- User reports: Users can report content, profiles, or any safety concern by contacting our support team from within the app or by emailing contact@eyou.social. Reports are triaged and reviewed promptly by our Trust and Safety team.
- Human review: Reviewers assess flagged content and make final decisions on enforcement actions, ensuring accuracy and context-awareness.
For transparency: eYou Social does not currently use cryptographic hash-matching against external CSAM databases (such as PhotoDNA, NCMEC hash lists, or Google CSAI Match), nor proactive behavioral pattern analysis. Our current detection relies on AI-based content moderation applied at upload and publish time, combined with user reports and human review. We continue to evaluate additional safety tooling as the platform grows.
